SB 35 Caption: Relating to providing that no person, firm, association or corporation engaged in any business enterprise in this State shall, by any method or procedure, directly or indirectly, by itself, or through any subsidiary agency owned or controlled in whole or in part by such person, firm, association or corporation, sell or procure for sale or have in its possession or under its control for sale to its employees or to any person, any article material, product or merchandise of whatsoever nature not his or its own production or not handled in his or its regular course of trade or business, with certain exceptions.
SB 36 Caption: Relating to fixing the salaries of assistant county attorneys and clerk-stenographers in counties of one hundred thousand or less, and containing a city of sixty thousand or more.
SB 37 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to authorize any city of more than five thousand (5,000) population, according to the last Federal Census, whether incorporated under General or Special Law, to codify and adopt a code of civil and criminal ordinances without the necessity of publication.
SB 51 Caption: Relating to amending Texas Banking Code relative to requiring each state bank to maintain an account to be known as certified surplus, and prescribing conditions under which same may be reduced.
SB 99 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation of Two Hundred and Fifty ($250.00) Dollars out of the Confederate Pension Fund to pay the claim of the Freeport National Bank Freeport, Texas, evidenced by certain warrants drawn against said fund and duly assigned to said bank by the respective persons to whom they were issued and which warrants cannot now be paid by the State Treasurer because of the limitation provision for the presentment for payment contained in certain Article, upon approval by the Comptroller of Public Accounts and the Attorney General.
SB 108 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts prescribing the method of appointing navigation and canal commissioners in navigation districts composed of lands in two counties.
SB 118 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts fixing amount of bond of guardian of ward, providing for payment, conditions and approval of bond of guardian, prescribing duties of judge with reference to such bond and making the judge liable for damage for failure to use reasonable diligence in the discharge of his duties, and to repeal all laws in conflict herewith.
SB 163 Caption: Relating to aiding the Town of Freeport, Texas, in raising, strengthening and extending existing seawalls and breakwaters now partially protecting said town from calamitous overflows, and in constructing additional seawalls and breakwaters, both within and without the corporate limits of said Town of Freeport for the further protection thereof, by donating and granting to said Town of Freeport for a period of twenty (20) years commencing September 1, 1945, and ending August 31, 1965, the State General Fund ad valorem taxes collected upon property real and personal (including rolling stock belonging to railroad companies, which shall be ascertained and apportioned as now provided by law) within the defined limits of Road District No. 8, etc.
SB 190 Caption: Relating to fixing the salary of the official Court Reporter in all Judicial Districts composed of four or more counties; providing method of payment of salary, expenses and other compensation.
SB 198 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation out of any moneys in the State Treasury not otherwise appropriated for the Nueces River Conservation and Reclamation District, for each of the fiscal years ending August 31, 1945, and August 31, 1946, to aid said District in making the necessary surveys and preparing the necessary plans for its construction program.
SB 201 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing that Levee Improvement Districts may embrace the area of any county or counties, or any part thereof, including towns, villages, or any part thereof, including towns, villages, or municipal corporations.
SB 204 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts by providing that the provisions of the law requiring or authorizing an examination by the Banking Commissioner shall not apply to a corporation whose only written obligation consists of notes or instrument evidencing a debt payable to stockholder, etc.
SB 215 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts authorizing commissioners courts in counties of 20,000 to 190,000 inhabitants to fix salaries of sheriff, assessor and collector of taxes, county judge, county attorney, and others.
SB 220 Caption: Relating to making certain emergency appropriations for the State Board of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists for the remainder of the current fiscal year ending August 31, 1945.
SB 221 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to eliminate the right of referendum of school districts in counties having a city with a population of not less than forty-four thousand (44,000) and not more than forty-five thousand (45,000) inhabitants.
SB 268 Caption: Relating to making an appropriation to be paid out of the General Revenue Fund of the State of Texas of the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) not otherwise appropriated, to cover the payment of taxes on State Prison Farm lands located in Fort Bend and Brazoria, Harris, Walker, Houston and Madison Counties now due and unpaid, exclusive of penalties and interest, by the State of Texas to said Counties and to the Independent School Districts in which said lands are located, for the years 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942, 1943, and 1944 and to become due for the years 1945 and 1946.
SB 269 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing that all containers and pertinent equipment used or to be used for storage, transporting and/or dispensing of liquefied petroleum gases, together with appliances using or to use said gas, shall be designed, constructed, assembled, equipped and installed as specified by the rules and regulations of the Railroad Commission; providing fines for such violations to be in addition and supplemental to other fines, penalties and restrictions imposed.
SB 289 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts providing for the classification of prisoners for good conduct, industry and obedience, and the commutation of time in accordance with said classification.
SB 304 Caption: Relating to amending the Code of Criminal Procedure as providing for inquests, and procedures and fees in connection therewith.

SB 359 Caption: Relating to creating the Galveston County Conservation and Reclamation District; prescribing the powers, duties and functions thereof; providing for the management and operation of said District, the method of financing the construction of works, facilities and improvements; prescribing certain exceptions and limitation.
SB 361 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes relative the closing of guardianships of estates.
SB 366 Caption: Relating to making an emergency appropriation not to exceed Sixty Thousand ($60,000.00) Dollars to the John Sealy Hospital (a unit of the Medical Branch of The University of Texas) for the general operation thereof, including maintenance, support and salaries of employees for the remainder of the present fiscal year ending August 31, 1943, out of any unexpended balances remaining in any funds or moneys appropriated to the Medical Branch of The University of Texas for the present fiscal year beginning September 1, 1942, and ending August 31, 1943, by the General Appropriation Bill for educational institutions of higher learning and authorizing the transfer of said funds, or so much thereof as may be necessary.

SB 271 Caption: Relating to declaring that members of the Army, Navy, or Marine Corps forces stationed in this State, so far as appertains to hunting and fishing, shall be given the same privileges as are given to residents of this State.
SB 297 Caption: Relating to amending certain Article regarding the limitation or restriction of the liability of railroads and other common carriers as it exists at common law; providing that said railroads shall not limit or restrict their liability as such by any general or special notices or by inserting exceptions in the bill of lading or memorandum given upon the receipt of the goods for transportation.
SB 355 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts enlarging the power of cities to acquire airport sites.
SB 356 Caption: Relating to amending certain Article of the Penal Code providing means by which the soldiers stationed in Texas under the National Defense Act, and others may be permitted to enjoy fishing in salt water without payment of non-resident fishing license and artificial lure license.

SB 358 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article of the Code of Criminal Procedure providing that in certain counties, the Commissioners' Court may allow each jail guard, jailer, matron or turnkey, a monthly salary of One Hundred Fifty ($150.00) Dollars per month.
SB 415 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Commissioner's Court in certain counties to allow each County Commissioner certain expenses for traveling; providing for the purchase of automobiles by the County for the use of the County Commissioners on official business.
SB 421 Caption: Relating to amending certain Article of the Revised Civil Statutes providing for the establishment of a Juvenile Board in certain counties; providing for the compensation of the members of said Boards.
SB 436 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act by providing for validating written wills heretofore probated and letters of administration heretofore granted upon citations or notices not so directed to the Sheriff or any Constable of the County in which such proceedings are instituted but conforming to the other requirements of Article 3333 of Title 54 of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, Revision of 1925 as amended, providing that this Act shall not apply in certain cases.
SB 469 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act relating to the "County Court of Galveston County at Law", transferring the jurisdiction of this Court to the County Court of Galveston County; providing for additional compensation for the County Judge and County Clerk.
SB 481 Caption: Relating to providing that the Galveston State Psychopathic Hospital shall be operated under the control and management of the Board of Regents of the University of Texas in conjunction with the medical branch of the University of Texas at Galveston.
