HB 547 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State Treasurer to pay out of any money not otherwise appropriated the sum of two hundred and seventy-eight dollars and fifty-five ($278,055) cents for traveling expenses of a special district Judge in and for the 7th Judicial District.
HB 681 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Article to prohibit one against whom a divorce is granted in Texas from marrying within one year from the date of such divorce; providing a penalty for violation.
HB 995 Caption: Relating to providing that it shall be unlawful to kill quail in Smith and Kaufman Counties except on certain days; providing the number of quail that can be killed in one day, and providing a penalty for violation of this Act.

HB 239 Caption: Relating to providing that the Clerks of the District Courts shall upon filing of a plea of privilege dispatch by registered mail a notice and certified copy of such plea to the attorneys of the adverse party and that within five days of the receipt of such notice, contraverting pleas must be filed under oath setting out the fact or facts relied upon conferring venue in the Court where the cause is pending.
HB 986 Caption: Relating to providing for the rendition and assessment of all oil on hand owned by oil pipeline companies of every character whatsoever engaged in the transportation of oil, doing business wholly or in part within this State, and providing for the apportionment of the value of such oil to the counties by the State Tax Board.
HB 996 Caption: Relating to providing relief for the Troup Independent School District of Smith County, Texas, made necessary by the fact that many additional students have enrolled in said school upon which the district receives no State apportionment.
