HB 505 Caption: Relating to amending the special road law for Smith County, by providing that all persons in Smith County subject to road duty under the General Laws of this State, shall be required to work upon the public roads of said county; prescribing penalties for failure to work the roads.
HB 536 Caption: Relating to amending certain Article by which the office of County Superintendent of Public Instruction was created and established and the duties thereof defined so that such officer shall be appointed by the County Board of School Trustees.
HB 586 Caption: Relating to providing that judges before whom persons are tried and convicted and sentenced to jail or penitentiary terms for not more than fifteen (15) years, shall ascertain the time such convicted person has remained in jail in connection with the offense whereof he stands convicted and shall antedate the sentence for such length of time as such convicted person shall have remained in jail.
HB 612 Caption: Relating to providing that county judges may authorize the payment of premiums on bonds of guardians, administrators or executors, where such bonds are made by approved surety companies, out of the estate being administered by such guardians, administrators or executors.
HB 654 Caption: Relating to authorizing the consolidation of school districts or parts of two or more districts into one district, to give authority to the County Trustees to consolidate school districts and to select the location of schools in such districts, and to authorize the State Superintendent of Public Instruction to order the County Trustees to consolidate county line and other school districts, and to authorize the transportation of children to consolidated schools to be paid out of funds collected from local maintenance tax.

HB 2 Caption: Relating to levying an occupation tax upon every person, firm, corporation or association of persons engaged in the business of operating interurban automobiles or interurban motor buses, who transport persons for hire.
HB 242 Caption: Relating to appropriating $1,500,000.00 out of the general revenue of the State for the purpose of paying the tuition of the scholastics who attend high schools in the 8th, 9th and higher grades and whose residence is in a school district in which there is no high school in which there are such grades and specifying the amount which may be paid per pupil for the school term and prescribing the method by which the accounts for such tuition shall be approved and paid and by whom such appropriation shall be paid out, and the condition on which same shall be paid.
