HB 371 Caption: Relating to levying and collecting annually a ten-dollar road tax against all able-bodied citizens of Panola county who are between the ages of twenty-one and fifty-five year; providing the manner of assessment and collection of said tax, and further providing a penalty for the failure or refusal to pay such tax.
HB 498 Caption: Relating to creating the Tatum Independent School District in Rusk and Panola counties, Texas; defining its boundaries; providing for a board of trustees to manage and control the public free schools within said district; and the title of all property now held and used for public school purposes; investing said district with the rights, powers, privileges and duties of a town or village incorporated for free school purposes only, under the General Laws.
