HB 288 Caption: Relating to amending the Public Assistance Program for Aid and Services to Needy Families with Children.
HB 289 Caption: Relating to providing for the elimination of the four (4) year residence requirement for employees of the State Department of Public Welfare.

HB 309 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts to provide that after consolidation of an independent school district with other independent school districts or with common school districts, where one of the independent school districts has a scholastic enrollment in excess of five (5) times the combined scholastic enrollment of the other districts consolidated with it, the members of the Board of Trustees of the larger district shall serve as the Board of Trustees of the combined district until their respective terms expire and their successors are elected.
HB 445 Caption: Relating to revising certain portions of the Workmen's Compensation Insurance Laws of this State by providing that the maximum and minimum weekly compensation benefits paid in instances of death covered by Workmen's Compensation Act be increased in all cases, and providing that these benefits be increased an additional amount per week in cases where two (2) children and a widow survive, and providing an additional weekly increase for each surviving child more than two (2).
HB 474 Caption: Relating to providing an open season for deer and bag and possession limits thereon and making it unlawful to kill or attempt to kill wild turkey in Hopkins, Delta, and Franklin Counties; fixing penalties for violations.
HB 498 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to authorize the retirement of any person serving twenty-three years and six months or more on one or more courts of the State.
HB 525 Caption: Relating to amending the Penal Code relative to highway speed limits; prescribing speed limits on open separated flow highways; providing a severability clause; providing a repealing clause.

HB 614 Caption: Relating to driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated; providing that any person who has been convicted of the misdemeanor offense of driving while intoxicated and who shall thereafter drive an automobile while intoxicated shall be guilty of a felony and upon conviction be punished by a fine and confinement in the county jail or the State penitentiary; amending the Drivers License Law to eliminate a provision for automatic suspension of license upon conviction for driving while intoxicated.
HB 631 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts relating to the Statement of Facts in a criminal proceeding so as to provide that the defendant may preserve in the Statement of Facts or by informal Bill of Exception certain objections.
HB 713 Caption: Relating to creating Sulphur River Municipal Water District, a conservation district comprising the territory contained within the cities of Cooper, Commerce and Sulphur Springs, for the purpose of providing a source of water supply for municipal, domestic and industrial use and processing and transporting the same.
HB 857 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to provide that Hopkins County shall be within the 62nd Judicial District; changing the terms of the District Courts of Hunt, Lamar, Delta, Franklin, and Hopkins Counties; providing for the jurisdiction of such courts and the functions of the judges thereof; providing procedure for transfer of cases and proceedings; providing procedure for transferred cases and proceedings; providing for the exchange of benches and for judges to sit for each other; providing for district clerks and sheriffs to serve the courts; validating and continuing all process issued or served before this Act takes effect; making such process returnable to the next term of the Court; validating the summoning of grand and petit juries under this Act; repealing all laws in conflict.
HB 941 Caption: Relating to the use of a public road which has been under fence for a period of fifteen years or more.
HJR 31 Caption: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Texas by providing that the Legislature may grant aid and compensation to persons who have been fined or imprisoned in this State, under the laws of this State for offenses of which they are not guilty.

HB 568 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes to vest sole discretionary authority in boards of trustees of independent school districts to sell district school buildings and lands.

HB 127 Caption: Relating to providing that a portion of the Sabine River from its source to its juncture with the east boundary line of Wood County shall hereafter be deemed a non-navigable stream insofar as hunting and fishing rights on and along said stream are concerned; providing that whatever title the State of Texas may have to the bed or waters of said stream shall not be divested hereby.
