HB 77 Caption: Relating to protecting the right of public employees to exercise all rights and privileges of citizenship and to prohibit certain boards from affecting tenure of certain public employees; providing remedies; and providing a penalty for breach of its terms.
HB 363 Caption: Relating to providing that a barber school or college require a course of instruction of not less than two thousand (2,000) hours to be completed within at least twelve (12) months; that an applicant, to be a student in a barber school or college, must be a high school graduate and be able to read intelligently and to write clearly the English language as shown by Board examination; that such student shall perform practical work over the chair on a prescribed daily average of patrons; that no charge of money or other thing of value shall be made or received for barber work or service performed by teachers, students or trainees; that certain prescribed records shall be kept and maintained; that one member of the Board of Barber Examiners shall be its President, another its Vice President and the third its Secretary; and that each Board member shall receive an annual salary of $7,500 and traveling expenses paid out of the State Board of Barber Examiners Fund.
