Africa, Sicily, Corsica and Italy. Among his decorations are the Bronze Star, Distinguished Unit Citation, War Department Commendation Ribbon and 12 Bronze Battle Stars. In 1950, Mr. Davisson was made a lieutenant colonel." Memorial, March 1963, p. 266.
