"Born in Ellis County, he was graduated from Baylor University and began practicing law at the age of 19 at Rockwall, where he became county judge at the age of 21. Later he was elected Flotorial Representative from Rockwall and Hunt counties." Later appointed to 11th Court of Civil Appeals by Governor Miriam A. Ferguson. Death date Tuesday, 8/31/1943.
