Born in Beaver County, Pennsylvania; pioneer real estate man; served in Union Army in a Pennsylvania regiment, and was captured by the Confederate Army; survived by widow Mrs. Elizabeth Leonard and one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Ferguson, according to reprint of obituary.
