Birth date 7/19/1816 in Kentucky; death date 9/28/1891 in Burnet County; burial in the old Corwin Cemetery, now the Haynie Flat Cemetery near Spicewood. ". . . in 1849 or 1850, the family moved to Texas, settling first in Travis County where they were enumerated in the 1850 Census. From Travis County they moved to old Corwin in Burnet County around 1853 or 1854." Burnet County History, 1979.
