Ross died at his home in South Alvarado last Sunday night . . . Mr. Ross was born in Harrison county, Texas, about 51 years ago. He came to Johnson county at the age of eighteen and made this his home to the time of his death with the exception of a short interval . . . Mr. Ross took an active interest in politics and one represented Johnson county in the state legislature."
