(1) Resigned 10/28/1936. "Allred Lauds Ed Lange," 10/29/1936, p. 1. "Edward H. Lange, of Laredo, member of the House during three Legislatures, resigned Wednesday to become city attorney of Laredo. The resignation was effective immediately. He served during the 36th, 43rd and 44th Legislatures, but did not seek election to the 45th assembly." Laredo Times.

"This will be the third term for Mr. Lange in the lower house of the legislature, having previously served two terms from the 78th District [sic], which is from Bexar county.
