King commanding; War Department memo shows no James Robinson on the muster rolls of any Company of the Confederate States Army numerically designated the 4th, but possibly James Robertson, name also found as James Robison, Private, Company C, 34th Regiment Texas Cavalry (Alexander's Regiment), enlisted 3/1/1862 at Paris, Texas. James Robinson, death date 2/13/1919 in Lubbock, widow Mrs. Emma Robinson, marriage date 11/12/1873 in Jack County.
