Biographical Sketches

  • Biographical sketch and portrait, Hervey Dillahunty, pp. 82-83. Born 1797 in Tennessee; elected to Tennessee House of Representatives in 1830; moved to Titus County in 1850 and served as County Judge of Titus County and member of the Texas House of Representatives; died 1878 and buried in Edwards Cemetery. Second wife Betheland Johnson. Pioneers and Heroes of Titus County, 1974.
