Relating to making an appropriation to compensate John W. Hornsby for legal services, said services having been rendered the State of Texas in the case of State of Texas vs. Hoffman Construction Company, No. 42197 in the District Court of Travis County, 53rd Judicial District, in which case judgment was obtained for the State against the defendant for the sum of $412,000.00 and costs of suit.
