SB 925, 64th R.S.
Relating to the authority, powers, and duties of the State Board of Insurance and the state fire marshal appointed by the board over the regulation of fire alarm and fire detection devices and systems, the investigation of arson, the sale, installation, leasing, servicing and inspection of such systems, and implementatiion of other laws, rules, and regulations concerning the state fire marshal; providing for certification of organizations and licensure of persons engaged in selling, installing, maintaining, or inspecting and certifying fire alarm or fire detection devices, the licensing of certain personnel, and approval of testing laboratories; establishing an advisory board; providing for the collection of fees and establishing the fire alarm and detection system fund.
