Memorializing the Congress of the United States to instruct the Federal Power Commission to restore natural gas for irrigation purposes to a No. 2 commercial priority before there is extensive and lasting damage to the economy of the Panhandle and South Plains of Texas and serious disruption of the national economy; providing that official copies of this resolution be prepared and forwarded to the President of the United States, to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States Congress, and to all members of the Texas delegation of the Congress with the request that this resolution be officially entered in the Congressional Record as a memeorial to the Congress of the Unite States of America; providing that official copies of this resolution also be prepared and forwarded to the Federal Power Commission as an expression of the views of the 64th Legislature of the State of Texas.
