SB 16, 30th R.S.
Relating to making it an offense punishable by fine and removal from office for any executive, legislative, ministerial or judicial officer of this State, district, county, city or other municipal subdivision of the State, to appoint or vote for the appointment of any person related to him by affinity or consanguinity within the third degree, to any clerkship, office, position, employment or duty in any department of the government of which such executive, legislative, ministerial or judicial officer may be a member; prohibiting the payment of any such ineligible person out of any public funds and providing for suitable punishment and removal from office for the violation of this Act and fixing venue.
