SB 266, 32nd R.S.
Relating to creating a special road system for Ellis county, Texas, and making the county commissioners ex officio road commissioners and providing for the appointment of deputy road commissioners, and prescribing their powers and duties as such and providing compensation for such road commissioners; and making it a misdemeanor for every person subject to public road duty or extra road duty who has not paid such taxes nor furnished a substitute nor paid money in lieu of such service for time summoned to fail or refuse to attend at any time and place designated by the person summoning him, when summoned or fail to do good service upon said roads, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding ten ($10.00) dollars.
