HB 657, 33rd R.S.
Relating to providing for the protection of the fish and oysters within tide water limits along the gulf coast of this State from the most interior point of tide water seaward co-extensive with the jurisdiction of the State, and the fish in such fresh water lakes, rivers and streams inland as may be owned by the State; and to provide for the sale and contracting for dam sites and protection of all marl, sand ,gravel, shells and mudshell that may be in or upon the bottoms of any location, providing for the issuance of permits for taking pearls, providing for leasing of the bottoms and proceeds arising shall be credited to the Fish and Oyster Fund; providing penalties; providing for compensation and prescribing duties of the Game, Fish and Oyster Commissioner and Chief Deputy.
