HB 520, 35th R.S.
Relating to giving to the owner of any real estate or interest therein sold under execution order of sale, deed of trust, mortgage or other contract lien the right to the possession of the same for one year from the date of sale at any time to redeem the same at any time in one year from the date of sale, by paying to the purchaser the amount of the purchase money paid, together with interest thereon and an additional five percent; providing that property redeemed under the act shall not again be subject to levy or sale for the debt for which it was sold; providing that from the period of redemption allowed by this act shall be declared a period equal to any extension of the debt; providing that the right of redemption shall not be waived; providing that the right of redemption shall not be waived; providing that the right of redemption shall for all purposes be treated and regarded as real estate.
