HB 425, 36th R.S.
Relating to providing that all persons legally liable for road duty in Hardeman county be, and they are, hereby given the right and privilege to pay to the county treasurer of said county the sum of three dollars on or before the 1st day of February of each year in lieu of actual work on said roads and in the event that such parties shall pay said sum of money to the treasurer of said county, at a time herein stipulated, they shall be exempted from road duty for said year for which said sum of money is paid.
