SB 379, 43rd R.S.
Relating to making it a penal offense for any person, agent or employee of any firm or corporation to permit natural gas produced from any oil well to escape into the air, where there is a sufficient quantity of such gas so escaping to be burned, without burning the same, or properly taking care of it so as to prevent its escape into the air, shall be guilty of a criminal offense and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not less than twenty-five ($25.00) dollars, nor more than one hundred ($100.00) dollars, or by confinement in the county jail for not less than thirty days nor more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment and providing that each separate day shall constitute a separate offense.
