SB 543, 43rd R.S.
Relating to providing that the Comptroller of Public Accounts shall not issue any warrant for the payment of the available school funds or rural aid or vocational educational funds, to or for the benefit of any school district or city or town which has assumed the control of its public schools when the interest and/or principal on any bonds owed by such school district and/or city or town belonging to the permanent school fund remain unpaid for a period of two years, and providing that such warrant shall not issue when any such school district and/or city or town prefers the claim of any other bondholder to the claims of the State Permanent School Funds.
