SB 1662, 83rd R.S.
Relating to creating an administrative board, to be known as The State Highway Commission, to be appointed by the Governor of Texas, with advice and consent of the Senate of Texas, one from each State Highway District (defined and created in this Act) and to serve for terms of two years and, thereafter, one of each members to be elected by the qualified voters of each such State highway district for terms as provided for in this Act.
