SB 211, 45th R.S.
Relating to providing for the creation of the office of the Commissioner of Education of the State of Texas, fixing the qualification of the Commissioner of education, his salary, and his term of office, abolishing the office of State Superintendent of Public Instruction of the State of Texas, transferring all the duties imposed by law upon the State Superintendent of the State of Texas at the time this Act goes into effect to the Commissioner of Education; providing that this Act be effecting from and after the second Monday in December, A. D. 1938.
