Proposing a constitutional amendment providing that members of the Senate of the State of Texas shall receive a salary of Thirty-Six Hundred ($3600.00) Dollars per annum, and the members of the House of Representatives of the State of Texas shall receive a salary of Twenty-Four Hundred ($2400.00) Dollars per annum; shall be entitled to a mileage at the rate of five (5) cents per mile for each mile traveled coming to and going from the seat of government.
