HB 670, 48th R.S.
Relating to amending certain Acts by providing that all fees paid by common carrier motor bus operators and common carrier motor freight lines who or which operate in more than one county in this State ever fixed routes for the registration of motor vehicles shall be remitted by the County Tax collector to the State Highway Department which said Department shall deport the fees in the State Treasury in the State Highway Fund and thereafter sixty (60%) per cent of the fees paid by each common carrier shall be distributed among the various counties into or through which each such carrier operates, so that each county will receive the same proportion of sixty (60%) per cent of the total fees paid by such carrier as the mileage of that carrier in each county bears to the total mileage of such carrier in this State.
