Relating to raising revenue; levying a tax upon timber, lime, coal and/or lignite and/or peat and/or coke, asphaltic limestone, asphalt, bentonite, Fuller's earth, gypsum, pumice and/or pumicite, salt, sand, shell, gravel and/or clay, limestone, granite, marble and sandstone; levying a tax on all products imported into this State upon the first sale or use in Texas in intrastate commerce, which are of like kind and character as those products which are herein taxed when produced in Texas; amending so as to increase certain occupation taxes; providing for penalties and interest; fixing the effective date of this Act.
