SB 385, 54th R.S.
Relating to creating a conservation district comprising the territory of San Augustine County, Texas, to be known as "San Augustine Water Authority," for the purpose of providing a source of water supply for irrigation, stock raising, agricultural, municipal, domestic and industrial use and processing, transporting and distributing the same; providing for a Board of Directors for the government of said authority; authorizing the authority to do all things necessary to the exercise of the powers herein granted; authorizing the issuance of bonds and providing for payment and security thereof; making applicable to the District Title 52 relating to eminent domain and certain General Laws relating to water control and improvement districts; prescribing the other powers of the authority; providing a saving clause; enacting other provisions relating to this subject.
