HB 44, 55th R.S.
Relating to amending certain Acts to provide that the authority of any person, firm or corporation engaged in the business of transporting or distributing gas for public consumption authority to lay or maintain pipes, mains, conductors and other facilities used for conducting gas through, under, along, across and over all public highways, public roads, public streets and alleys, and public waters within this State shall be dependent upon the consent of and subject to the direction of the governing body having jurisdiction over such rights-of-way.
