HB 834, 49th R.S.
Relating to creating a conservation district wholly within Bexar County, Texas, to be known as Bexar Metropolitan Water District, pursuant to and for the purposes set forth in Article 16, Section 59 of the Constitution of Texas, to be a governmental agency, body politic and corporate, with power to control, conserve, protect, preserve, distribute, and utilize storm and flood waters of rivers and streams and underground waters situated in the District and to control and regulate the accumulation and disposal of sewage, wastes, refuse, and residuum to protect and preserve the purity of the surface and underground waters; to make rules and regulations pertaining to the operations and providing penalties for violations thereof; providing a savings clause.
