Relating to assaults and assault and battery by persons using or exhibiting firearms and additional penalties for persons who use or exhibit a firearm during the commission of certain offenses; providing for imprisonment without probation or parole in those instances; increasing the maximum sentences for murder without malice and assault to commit murder with malice to life imprisonment; increasing the minimum sentence for murder with malice to 20 years.
