HJR 74, 57th R.S.
Relating to proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Texas to provide for the election of a Speaker on the last day of any regular session to serve as Speaker whose term of office shall commence at the next general election; providing that in the event such elected Speaker does not represent a district at the next session he shall constitute the one hundred fifty-first member of the House of Representatives; providing addition election in the event the Speaker is unable to serve.
