HJR 7, 58th R.S.
Relating to proposing a constitutional amendment to provide four-year terms for members of the House of Representatives; to provide for the division of members of the House of Representatives into two (2) classes after each apportionment, seats of the first class to be vacated at the expiration of the first two (2) years and those of the second class to be vacated at the expiration of four (4) years; and to provide that members of the House of Representatives shall not be candidates for any other office at any regular primary or general election without first having resigned from the House of Representatives.
