HB 473, 48th R.S.
Relating to making specific appropriation of Two Hundred Dollars ($200) or so much thereof as may be necessary out of the State Highway Fund in the State Treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to pay a certain judgment obtained by W.F. Howell, against the State of Texas, as rendered on the 21st of November, A.D. 1941, in the District Court of Parker County, Texas, in cause No. 9935, wherein W.F. Howell is plaintiff, to whom prior permission had been granted to bring such suit, and the State of Texas and the State Highway commission of Texas are defendants, for the principal sum of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150), with interest at the legal rate of six (6) per centum per annum from the date of said judgment until paid, such judgment being rendered for damages done to W.F. Howell's land in Parker County, Texas, by reason of rebuilding of United States Highway No. 80, State Highway No. 1.
