Relating to authorizing the governing board of the State Employees Retirement System to provide a pension of One Hundred Twenty Five ($125.00) Dollars per month for life to Texas Rangers who have retired and who have had at least Two (2) Calendar years prior service but who are ineligible to participate in the State Employees Retirement System; providing that in the event of death of such retired Texas Ranger the surviving widow shall receive Sixty Two and 50/100 ($68.50) Dollars per month for life; making necessary appropriation therefor.
