Proposing a constitutional amendment to provide that the County Commissioners' Court of any county of the State of Texas shall be empowered to abolish or continue to maintain the office or offices of Constable, within their respective counties, as now provided for by the Constitution of the State of Texas, at the discretion of said County Commissioners' Court, in the November 1954, general election.
