HB 8, 28th R.S.

Relating to providing aid to the City of Galveston in elevating and raising said City so as to protect it from calamitous overflows, by donating and granting to it the State ad valorem taxes, and a part of the Occupation and Poll taxes, collected on property and from persons in Galveston County for a period of fifteen years, and to provide a penalty for their misapplication.
