Relating to creating the Port Aransas Independent School District known as common school district No. 8 in Nueces county, Texas, and including within its limits the municipal corporation of the town of Port Aransas, and defining its boundaries; and to provide for the creating of a board of trustees thereof and authorizing the board of trustees to levy, assess and collect special taxes, and conferring upon the board of trustees plenary powers, and providing authority to issue bonds for the purpose of purchasing school sites and erecting, furnishing and equipping school buildings within the same, and to levy a tax therefor, and to pay current expenses for the maintenance and support of said schools, providing for a board of equalization and prescribing the duty and authority of said board, and further prescribing the duty and authority of the board of trustees, declaring valid an issue of bonds heretofore made, declaring valid a maintenance tax heretofore voted.
