SB 48, 33rd 1st C.S.
Relating to amending a special road law for Mason county, Texas, so as to provide that hands employed to work on the public roads shall be paid not more than $1.50 per day, and that not more than $3.00 per day shall be paid for a team and driver, and further, so as to provide that the superintendent of roads and bridges shall have charge of all public roads and bridges and supervise all work done thereon, but that the county commissioners shall inspect the roads within their respective precincts once each month, and shall receive as compensation therefor three dollars per day for the time actually employed in the discharge of such duty, provided that no commissioner shall receive pay for more than three days in any one month.
