HB 299, 34th R.S.
Relating to creating a more efficient road system for Wood county, Texas, and making the county commissioners of said county ex officio road comissioners, and providing for working county convicts upon public roads of said county and for the payment of the fees of officers and witnesses in such cases, and providing for the amount of time to be allowed road hands for their teams, and providing for the payment of $5.00 in lieu of road service; providing that Wood county shall be subject to the General Law governing the appointment of road overseers, and providing for the division of roads into road precincts.
