SB 23, 34th 1st C.S.
Relating to amending a certain Act authorizing the sale of certain submerged flats or lands under water on the shore of Galveston Bay so as to authorize the Commissioner of the General Land Office to sell and conditionally relinquish to J.J. Kane, of the city of Galveston, his heirs or assigns, for the purpose of constructing a dry dock or marine railway thereon, all rights, title and claim in the State of Texas to certain flats or land under water on the shores of Galveston Bay, and so as to provide for the sale and conveyance of said property in consideration of the erection of a dry dock or marine railway at a cost of not less than one hundred fifty thousand ($150,000.00) dollars, and the payment to the State of Texas of the price agreed upon as herein provided.
