HB 744, 49th R.S.
Relating to providing for acquiring and accepting title to 28 1/4 acres of land on the East side of the Colorado River out of the D.J. Gilbert Survey being Block 20 of a subdivision of the P.C. Taylor land and commonly known as a Lagoona Gloria, authorizing the acceptance of title upon condition that the property never been encumbered and shall perpetually be maintained and operated as a museum for art treasures and things of historical interest to the people of Texas, providing for its management and supervision by the State Board of Control and the Texas Fine Arts Association, providing that the land and grounds shall be known as "Clare Driscoll State Art Gallery".
