Charges

Visit and thoroughly investigate each and every department and institution which is or may be in any way or manner connected with the State either by the Constitution, statute or contract.

Examine books and papers, administer oaths and compel the attendance of witnesses to testify relative to all matters pertaining to the affairs of State within the scope of their power, now granted.
