Charges

  • Assist the Sunset Commission in investigating agencies designated for review.
  • Review the laws establishing the Sunset Commission and the reports presented to the 66th Regular Session of the Legislature, as well as recommendations to be made to the 67th Regular Session, to determine if the Commission is properly structured and functioning.
  • Determine what benefits to the State have accrued as a result of public membership on governing boards of agencies and determine the impact of the Sunset Commission in this regard.
