- Continue or initiate any and all inquiries and hearings into matters pertaining to the State Government and any agency or subdivision of Government within the State of Texas, the expenditure of public funds, and all othe matters and things considered by said Committee to be needed for the information of the Legislature for the welfare and protection of the citizens of the State of Texas.
