Appointed by Lieutenant Governor 4/6/1871 pursuant to resolution by Dohoney following a question of privilege by Senator Dillard stating that certain evidence submitted to the Senate Committee on Privileges and Elections had been lost or mislaid and requesting time to reproduce evidence. Committee appointed to ascertain the facts in reference to the lost evidence. Majority report signed by Senators Ruby and Ford. Minority report signed by Senator Dohoney.
