HB 538 Caption: Relating to requiring that new passenger cars be equipped with approved seat belts; prescribing a penalty.
HB 751 Caption: Relating to the use of seines and nets in the waters of Corpus Christi Bay and Red Fish Bay in Nueces County.
HB 789 Caption: Relating to residence requirements and to determination of place of residence for the purpose of voting; amending the Texas Election code by deleting provisions on place of voting by persons in military service.
HJR 35 Caption: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Texas so as to repeal the provision making payment of a poll tax a requirement for voting, authorizing the Legislature to provide for the registration of all voters, and authorizing members of the armed forces of the United States or component branches thereof who meet all of the requirements established for voting to vote on the same basis as all other persons.
HJR 65 Caption: Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Texas providing that school taxes theretofore voted in any independent school district or in any junior college district shall not be abrogated, cancelled or invalidated by such change; authorizing the levy of taxes after such change without further election in the district as changed; providing an exception in the case of the annexation or consolidation of whole districts.
