HB 312 Caption: Relating to authorizing certain incorporated towns, etc., located entirely within other municipalities to have services of Tax Assessors and Collectors, etc., of said municipality, etc.
HB 363 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by defining the offense of contributing to the delinquency of a child under the age of seventeen (17) years, or contributing to the delinquency, dependency, or neglect of a Neglected Child or an Habitual Drunkard or a Narcotic Addict, defining the term "Delinquency", and providing a penalty.
HB 364 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to provide that the annual budget hearing in each of the counties throughout the State shall be held not later than July thirtieth (30th) of each year.
HB 365 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to provide express authority for the execution of deeds to convey property bought in by the State of Texas as Trustee for the use and benefit of itself and the other taxing units at tax foreclosure sales, as well as providing express authority for the execution of deeds by counties where property is bought in the name of the county as trustee for the use and benefit of itself and other taxing units in tax foreclosure sales.
HB 366 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by increasing present salaries of all deputies, assistants and clerks of district, county and precinct officers by twenty (20) percent of the amount being paid to them as salaries as of the effective date of this Act, and providing that such increases shall be in effect from the date of this Act until the end of six months after the termination oft he present war in which the United States of America is engaged.
HB 367 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing that the deputy Assessor and Collector of Taxes in cities in excess of seven thousand (7,000) or more inhabitants, other than the county seat, as provided for in said Act, shall be paid in the same manner and from the same funds as are deputy Assessors and Collectors of Taxes whose duties are performed at the county seat.
HB 368 Caption: Relating to amending certain Article so as to provide that, from the effective date of the Amendment, to the expiration of the sixth month after the termination of the present war in which the United States of America is engaged, the salaries provided in said Article for the officers therein named, shall be increased by twenty (20%) percent of the amount being paid as salaries as of the effective date of this Act.
HB 369 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes by providing the time that the Commissioners' Court of each county shall convene and sit as a Board of Equalization to receive all the assessment lists or books of the Assessor of their counties for inspection, correction, or equalization and approval that they shall cause the assessor to bring before them at such meeting all said assets and lists, books, etc., for inspection, and see that every person has rendered his property at a fair market value, and shall have power to send for persons, books and papers, swear and qualify persons, to ascertain the value of such property, and be lower or raise the value on the same.
HB 370 Caption: Relating to amending certain Statutes so as to include the county of Cameron in the list of counties exempted from the provisions of Chapter 7 of Title 121, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, 1925, and from all laws regulating the inspection of hides and animals.
HB 371 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts so as to require the preparation by the County Judge of each county of the budget not later than July Tenth (10th) of each year.
HB 372 Caption: Relating to amending certain Acts relating to the protection of the properties and lives of the citizens of Cameron and Willacy Counties from further disastrous and calamitous overflows, granting them a portion of State ad valorem taxes for a period of twenty-five years, etc.

HB 683 Caption: Relating to providing that it shall be unlawful for any person to kill, wound, shoot at, hurt or molest any wild animals, wild birds, or wild fowl found within the bounds of any public park under the control of the Texas State Parks Board, at any season of the year; providing a penalty.
HB 684 Caption: Relating to providing that it shall be unlawful for any person to operate or drive a motor or other vehicle upon any road in any public park under the control of the Texas State Parks Board at a rate of speed in excess of twenty (20) miles per hour, providing a penalty and authorizing any peace officer to arrest without a warrant for any violation of any provision of this Act.
HB 685 Caption: Relating to providing that it shall be unlawful for any person to bring into, sell or consume any alcoholic beverage within the confines or limits of any public park under the control of the Texas State Parks Board; providing a penalty.
HB 686 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act authorizing the State Parks Board to operate or grant concessions in State Parks and to operate concessions or make concession contracts for any causeway, beach drive, or other improvements in connection with State Park sites; providing that the revenue thus earned shall when collected be placed in the State Treasury.

HB 757 Caption: Relating to requiring every corporation, other than banks chartered under the laws of Texas or of the United States, engaged, in this State, in the business of accumulating and lending money, purchasing, selling, and dealing in notes, bonds, securities, and contracts having a money value to carry on deposit in banks located within the State of Texas not less than 80% of its operating funds used in its Texas business; prescribing the penalty and punishment for failure to make such reports.
HB 787 Caption: Relating to defining the term "obscene publication"; prohibiting the sale of any obscene publications; providing a penalty for violation.
HB 809 Caption: Relating to providing that no director, officer, or employee of any bank, doing business in Texas, chartered under the laws of the State or of the United States, shall have any financial interest in any corporation, partnership, firm, or legal entity, other than such bank, engaged in the business of lending money, discounting notes and buying and selling choses in action, or contracts having a money value, for which interest or bonuses or other things financial value are charged, providing a punishment for violation of this act.
HB 950 Caption: Relating to amending a certain Act providing a definition of "contract dealer," and "cash dealer" and by providing that the term "agent" shall comprehend "transporting agent"; to provide license fee for cash dealers; providing for the bonding of commissions merchants and contract dealers; providing a maximum fine for violation of the Act.

HB 421 Caption: Relating to defining and regulating the practice of professional engineering the State of Texas; defining as a misdemeanor certain acts committed after the first day of January, 1938; prescribing the penalties for such violations and that each day of such violation shall be a separate offense; providing for issuance within one (1) year after this Act becomes effective of certificates, on certain conditions, to residents of Texas practicing professional engineering in Texas at time this Act becomes effective.
HB 422 Caption: Relating to authorizing the creation of County and District Mosquito Control Districts.
HB 425 Caption: Relating to validating certain bonds of cities in the State of Texas operating under the General Laws of the State and located in certain counties.
HB 430 Caption: Relating to reorganizing the Criminal District Court for the Counties of Nueces, Kleberg, Kenedy, Willacy and Cameron to be constituted of Nueces County, Texas, only, under the designation of the 127th Judicial District Court, and creating the 128th Judicial District of Texas to be composed of the Counties of Cameron, Willacy, Kenedy and Kleberg.
HB 458 Caption: Relating to authorizing the State Board of Water Engineers to have made a scientific study, investigation and report on the waters of the Rio Grande River for the purpose of presenting such data to the Government of the United States of America for its use in the proposed negotiations with the Government of the Republic of Mexico for a treaty between said two governments with reference to the equitable distribution and storage of the waters of the Rio Grande River and appropriating out of the general revenues of the State of Texas the sum of Thirty five thousand ($35,000) Dollars for the two years biennium to defray the expenses connected with the making of such investigation, preparing and presenting such data.
HB 476 Caption: Relating to authorizing the Boards of Trustees of Public Free Schools in this State to employ, Superintendents, Principals and Teachers, prescribing in part their qualifications, and providing that the employment of such Superintendents, Principals and Teachers as authorized under this Act shall in no way affect any present or future classification of any such school or its accreditation by or affiliation with any other School, College, or University in this State supported in whole or in part through taxes levied by the State.
HB 531 Caption: Relating to exempting motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, owned and used exclusively in the service of any water District or Water Control and Improvement District from the payment of license or registration fees to the State of Texas.
HB 532 Caption: Relating to providing that all products and commodities of whatever kind or character packed or canned in tins, boxes, crates or containers of any sort shall be labeled; providing a penalty for the violation of this Act.
